The Closing Event of the Fifth Phase of our project-series “Simulating Egyptian Transition: Realizing Egypt’s Vision 2025” will take place at Pyramisa Hotel, Dokki on 12th December 2018 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. CRISP and CDS have been running this project series since 2012. During the project’s duration, we have implemented several capacity building activities in order to stimulate active citizenship among Egyptian youth. During the Closing Event, we would like to present our work and share the impact we have achieved throughout the project.
The Project’s participants have used working spaces as platforms for the implementation of local community-led initiatives all over Egypt in cooperation with stakeholders from different sectors, in order to bring social change to their communities. Furthermore, our participants have developed and implemented different simulation games, aiming to increase the understanding of local and social issues and to develop ideas and concrete measures how to deal with those based on the Vision for Egypt 2025 that was developed from our values chosen by hundreds of our participating youth.
We aim for the sustainability of our activities through supporting the participating youth to take Simulation Gaming in Egypt into an institutional level and present our vision for working in the forthcoming years.
